taoist
Is it possible to have a sheet Layer, that has a grid of squares (Think individual Viewports) let's say (3) Rows of (4) Columns. One could change this layout of course. We want to show the Interior elevations of (3) Rooms in this case. Each row will show the (4) walls of the Room Interior elevations. We want to automatically assign the Interior elevations to the (4) Viewports. Also, have the Viewports based on center so that if we make changes or move the design layer, the viewport does not change as it is based on the center. Does this make sense? Quote Link to comment
taoist
My apologies for my fat fingers in the Title of the thread. Quote Link to comment

rDesign
Have you tried the Create Interior Elevation Viewports command in Vw Architect? VW 2024 Help File : Create Interior Elevation Viewports [The ArchiCAD video you posted may describe your question, but it’s over 22 minutes long — too long for anyone to watch in order to just understand your question.] If you haven’t already, try the current Vw Create Interior Elevation Viewports command and then post back with questions / comments about where the command does not fit in your workflow. I have my own frustrations with it, mainly about not being able to place the interior elevation marker outside of small rooms. I don’t believe this is currently possible in Vw. The Interior Elevations are created based on the center of the room’s bounding walls — but I don’t believe that the Interior Elevation Marker (which defines the SL viewports) is associated with the bounding walls, so if you radically move the walls the Interior Elevation Marker does not automatically move with it. taoist
Thank you for the replies. Yes, I have tried the Interior elevations. It too does all 4 walls at once. I need to explore this more to see what one can change about view heights, depths, left to right, etc... I never thought of what the Archicad video shows. I like the idea though. I was curious as to whether or not it was possible. Quote Link to comment
JenWilliamson
rDesign, do you know how to move interior elevations to new sheets and maintain links? This can be done with section viewports and exterior elevation viewports, but the Interior Elevation viewport defaults to a locked linked viewport. Quote Link to comment
