bcd
This is an odd one that's been overlooked by VW but whenever your Viewport has a Fill the Visibility tool doesn't work to control the VP's Class/Layer visibilities. Set the VP fill to None and it works as expected. (genius?) I think this should be the default for Viewports, fill or no. Edited August 30 by bcd 1 Quote Link to comment
markdd
I hadn't noticed this and have often wondered why it works on some viewports and not others. Well done for finding the correlation. I suspect it's a bug. Can you file a report? Quote Link to comment
bcd
Just tried that - happilly the submit button is disabled for me. It's odd that after taking the time to report a software bug you would be obliged to accept this -> By submitting this form, you agree that Vectorworks, Inc. and its authorised partners may contact you in regards to news, offers, and the use of our software, services, and platforms Surely this is the one time that you'd be happy to have a user volunteer their insight without yet another data grab/sale. Surely a simple 'Thank you for making this bug report. May we contact you directly if we need more information to help understand and resolve it y/n?' would suffice. 4 Quote Link to comment
