Is there a way to set the visibility of a class for a sheet layer?

I have data tags placed on sheet layers. Those tags are in my Data Tags class. If I've viewed a layer without the Data Tags class on, then I activate a sheet layer my data tags are not visible. I know I could create a saved view to solve this, but typically I just click a sheet later to view the sheet.

No. Class visibilities are universal for all Layers.

 

If you want this either put the data tags inside the Viewport Annotations (which have separate Class Visibilities) or use a Saved View.
