ArenaLights
VW 9.5 SpotlightAs we evolve in our Vectorworks usage we have decided that using two monitors would help so that can put the tool pallets on one monitor and have the drawing and the most used pallets on the other one. The problem that we have been running into is that we seem to be having a problem saving the layout that we like. When using the workspace editor, and creating a new workspace, what is the best way to save that layout exactly the way it is? When we then open that workspace the layout has changed. Any thoughts would be appreciatedTlaloc Lopez-WatermannLightng Fellow Arena Stage Quote Link to comment
*Claes
I guess by layout you mean the tool palette positions? The best way then would be to position them the way you want across the 2 monitors, and then choose 'edit the current workspace' and then save it with another name. Quote Link to comment
Ohran
I use 2 monitors and I have to say it is the only way to go. What I have done is move the tool bar positions around so they are all on one side. I then stretch out my resources and Object info windows till the toolbars take up all of one screen. Quote Link to comment
