Peter Telleman
Hi everyone, I'm using some Prolyte H30V circles in a drawing, and when running braceworks, I got the error that there was no weight specified. Am I correct in seeing no weights with the Prolyte circles in the VW library? Peter Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee JustinVH Posted August 14 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted August 14 You are correct, Prolyte has not been willing to give us the weights for those symbols. If you know the weights you can modify the symbols and add them. 1 Quote Link to comment
Peter Telleman
Thanks for your answer Justin. So they did give all the other weights, just not the circles? I of course have an idea of the weight and will use that in our symbols to be able to calculate the drawing. best regards, Peter @Sebas htc Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee JustinVH Posted August 14 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted August 14 We entered the weights for what they gave us when they sent the files to develop. 1 Quote Link to comment
Peter Telleman
Yes, the same is what they've posted on their site. With straight truss lengths they give the max loads per certain spans, and they mention the trussweight for that span (so you can deduct the weight per meter). With their circles they just give the max loads in certain configuration, but not what the circle itself weighs. Quote Link to comment
