bob cleaver
I am developing an irrigation plan and I want to: 1. Select connected lateral pipe and drip lines so I can label them and link them to a valve number. With the pipe selected, a custom color can be added to distinguish one valve piping from another. I have a worksheet that counts the length of pipe per valve and having a way to select connected pipe saves time. 2. Select drip emitters on the same lateral or drip tubing and then label them with a valve number and have a worksheet to count and add flow. Is a custom selection tool the correct path ? I know the valves already calculate all this and a data tag can delineate the quantities etc (Bryan Goff's recent webinar was terrific and had an example of a custom date tag for valve information) but color coding pipe per valve would be a bonus. Is this a marionette script ? I am happy to share the worksheets as it is a quick way to review per valve pipe, emitter, and flow rather than reading individual data tags. Quote Link to comment
