Mid Command Zoom

engles

Question

Being able to zoom in and out mid command is a basic and useul function. It used to be possible on 8.5.2 using the keys '1' and '2' but in 11 the only way seems to be via the '+' and '-' icons on the scroll bar at the bottom of the window. These icons are difficult to use as they also nudge the screen.

You can zoom in and out in the middle of a function by holding down the space bar and either using the keyboard shortcuts for zoom, double clicking on the zoom tools in the 2d tools palette, or the zoom buttons in the lower left corner of the screen. This feature is called the Boomerang mode. Additional information about this feature can be found in the VW User's GUide.
