I thought you'd taken another step back by taking away the "sliding glass door version 2" object. Now that I've looked in the workspace editor I see that it's still there.
But when looking for other alternatives on the internet I found "WinDoor" at this URL "http://www.ozcad.com.au/". This is the Australian distributor for VW and if you look at the web page linked above, you'll see that it's included for free in the Australian and NewZealand copies of VW. Can you not get this pakaged with all versions of VW?
It's a really powerfull tool for creating hi quality doors and windows, it's much better than any thing that's included with VW.
