VW 2021 w/Monterey 12.7.6?

Curious if anyone uses VW 2021 or VW 2024 with macOS Monterey 12.7.6? 

 

I need VW 2021 for work, and use it with macOS Big Sur 11.6 currently due to it being tried and true, and no issues (plus it's the version my colleague uses).  I have continued to pay for my annual Service Select membership and just paid recently.  I want to try the new features of VW 2024 though, and feel like I am getting something for the money I just paid. 

 

I see on the requirements pages (here and here) that both VW versions are compatible with Monterey 12.1.  So mainly I need to know if Monterey 12.7.6 will still be compatible with VW 2021. If it works well with VW 2024 that would be a bonus.

I am not running it, but according to the OS compatibility chart here, both VW2021 and VW2024 will run under Monterey.  So I would go ahead and install VW2024 and see how it works for you.

@greentea Use VW 2021 on macOS 12.7.5 / MacBook Pro M1 Max as the main drawing app - Have 2024 installed / updated, though it has several aggravation that need overcoming / work arounds.

 

Oddly...  switched from VW 2020 (very stable / limited issues) to VW 2021 to use the Smart Options Display, only to find that some available palettes are NOT editable (Standard Views for example) As I work on a smaller screen, without a Numerical Keypad, Keyboard shortcuts are much easier / faster than the Smart Options Display.

         (... So it goes !)
