Can someone help me create this exact shape? the two petals and the metal frame?

You will need to use several NURBS curves to achieve that or a play with subdivision modeling

This was made without the use of NURBS curves until the very end where an extraction was used to create the border.  Time to make it 3 minutes.

I did post the video, it was called, (Nurbs modelling- Where have all the flowers gone}.

@suz  This is another way to it, there are many.  The new tool I am introducing is the Contours tool.  Look it up, but this is an easy way to do it with NURBS curves.

@grant_PD. Beautiful work and rendering.  Is this all done in Vectorworks?

@VIRTUALENVIRONS all built in vectorworks.  The flowers and plants are a neat little plug in for C4D.  Each leaf and flower are 3d polys that "grow" from a hand doodled vine.  I believe it's using the mograph functionality for c4d.  

I really wish vectorworks had something akin to mograph for c4d.

@grant_PD It looks very realistic.  It probably has "roots", no pun intended in Mograph.    I only have C4D 20.  What version are you using?
