C. Andrew Dunning
Greetings from Music City, USA! Yesterday we released updates for all of our tools. While several of the tools exhibit evident refinement and bug fixes, the changes for others are "under-the-hood." For example, there is a new VideoScreen 4 Image Picker dialog and speaker and bumper Symbols can now contain embedded Symbols. Most of the adjustments are direct responses to user input... MANY thanks to the folks at the Mothership for sharing bug-reports and counsel! See our Plug-Ins page for more info. 2 Quote Link to comment

Ben3B
Hello @C. Andrew Dunning I can't find where to post , there is no forum on your web site How can I use equipment list with led VS4 ? VS4 doesn't appear in spotlight pref inventory tab... Thanks Quote Link to comment
Joe Golden ENT
@Ben3BDepending on what you want it to show, I think you just add the record to the VS object. I need to go down this rabbit hole of the equipment list. Quote Link to comment

At this time, the VW inventory system doesn’t recognize 3rd-party objects (including ours). That being said, as @JustinVH mentioned, @Scott C. Parker might know of a development that hasn't hit my radar, yet. Edited July 20 by C. Andrew Dunning Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Scott C. Parker Posted July 20 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted July 20 Supporting 3rd party is on our radar, but has yet to be implemented. Currently, we need items that are SDK and/or symbol-based to be able to "see" the objects in the Equipment and Inventory dialog. Andy's wonderful tools place a visual image of the symbols in the drawing layer vs. an actual symbol. VW's version does as well, but has some additional SDK type coding that allows the inventory system to see and count them. I'm not a programmer, but this is how it's been explained to me. It gets even more complicated when one tilts a symbol based object. Huge rabbit hole. Quote Link to comment

Ben3B
ok I' m looking a way to report all the led module by size mdel or resolution... It works with an worksheet from from equipment list, (sum width item and sum count value) but I cant copy paste the formula because it seem to dont report to led screen parameters... here is the formula from worksheet from equipment list and the same from a report so i'm looking a way to do the same with vs4 plugin , I know this is possible with the "concat" formula But I'm to bad to write it here the report created in spotlight menu thanks Quote Link to comment
Ben3B
it seems that module total isn't a number but it text because I can' summarize it even in worksheet as in graphic legend ... Quote Link to comment
