G-Pang
Could be better if there is new command /tool similar to Autocad's Bpoly command. Quote Link to comment
0 David Seibert
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes! Ever try to turn an ACAD site plan into a color presentation drawing? Painful. Quote Link to comment
0 jan15
What does that Bpoly command do? Or, more specifically, what does it do that you want VectorWorks to do? I tried it and the only thing I could figure out was that it can draw a polygon around an existing hatch. But you must be talking about something else that it can do. Quote Link to comment
0 G-Pang
It can draw polyline at any shape of closed perimeter.. not just around existing hatch. How many steps/click you need to draw a polyline with eg : 15 or 165 vertex?? Bpoly can do it with only 1 click ...not 15 or 165. From the polyline...you can manipulate it to for your need eg: area detection / calculation/ colouring. I know there is command to create polygon from wall in VW. But it is only limited for closed wall only, not line/arc/polygon/rectangle/etc. Quote Link to comment
