There are two commands, neither of which are particularly straightforward.

 

There is the Replace Truss command and the Replace Truss Type command. 
 

Once you’ve worked out the methodology they are fairly easy to use, but you do need to put aside 15 minutes or so to get the measure of them.

Thank you. I actually didn't look into Rigging/Braceworks tools where it lives. My bad. I have a secondary question. Is there a way to replace a parametric truss with a truss symbol? Only way I can think off is to manually replace it by deleting parametric piece and using a symbol on the same spot.

Thanks. I've tried and it turns out, that deleting paramertric truss and placing symbol manually is faster workflow for me. Replace with stock symbol command placed the symbol way up the position of original parametric truss, it places just one piece of truss even if original parametric truss was twice as long. Just fixtures stay in place and stay assigned to a hanging position.
