DSmith2300
Has anyone had any joy fixing this problem? See screengrab below. Using data tags in annotation window. It's awesome until it isn't. Bigger group messes up recognition of smaller group of plants. VW needs to make a Left/ RIght arrow scrolling selection of potential snapping objects for the data tag. Smaller group is 'above' the larger group, but that doesn't help. I'll let other people wade in one more time before I send it off for official bug / improvement notice. And no, I shouldn't have to make separate layers and turn them on and off just to make the tags work. Or use them in another design layer. Thanks for any input. Quote Link to comment
0 Jeff Prince
I don't have these difficulties, even if I put Landscape Areas on the same Design Layer as individual plants. Have you sent your LA to the back in terms of draw order, that helps. Placing landscape areas on a different design layer is a general good practice and guarantee that you can tag things correctly. 2 Quote Link to comment
0 Amanda McDermott
It's a real faff sometimes to snap to the object you actually want to tag; I agree that "scrolling selection of potential snapping objects for the data tag." would be incredibly helpful. 1 Quote Link to comment
0 DSmith2300
Jeff, it ain't an LA. Just plants. Absolutely got to get selection function of overlapping objects for data tags. 1 Quote Link to comment
