BRSebbe
Hey, didnt really know where to post this but ill try here. The symbol for Jthomas ST30 2500mm truss has a weight of 2525KG per piece, i find that to be a bit heavy when its supposed to weigh 25.5KG. Quick fix for me is ofcourse to just change it in the OIP, but this should be fixed in the libraries. Cheers x 1 Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee JustinVanHassel Posted June 7, 2024 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted June 7, 2024 All fixed! This fix will go out in the June 2024 update to the Premium Libraries in the English International version of VW2024 only. It will also be deployed as part of the full packages in VW2025 once that is released later this year. Thanks for finding the mistake. 1 Quote Link to comment

I've yet to update to VW2025, to many projects in the air as of yet. The symbol did update, although now it has its weight as "0" instead, see attached image. Also, this does not seem to have a valid cross section, is there any chance for this to be fixed in VW2024? Cheers Edited October 24, 2024 by BRSebbe Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee JustinVanHassel Posted October 24, 2024 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted October 24, 2024 @BRSebbeVW2024 will receive no more Content updates as VW2025 is now the most current version of the software. As for the cross section, we have been informed by JThomas that they will not give us that data because it is too much of a liability and they prefer that their engineers generate the reports using their service. It is best to bring this up with JThomas to pressure them to give us the data. They never exclusively said they will never give it to us but if you read between the lines that is what it looks like. I want you to be aware that Prolyte S52V, also has the incorrect weight. Im not in front of VWX, but a 3m piece is atm 10kg less of what prolyte says it is. I figured ill quote you here instead of making a new post about it. Quote Link to comment
