Importing .OBJ files

I managed to get a section to partially add solids, but there is something wrong with this file.  

First of all, if you select one polygon, you will notice it is not closed.  The first thing I did was select all and then closed them all.  Then I converted to a mesh and from there converted to 3D polygons.  

I now had access to Add Solids, but the top of this arm will not participate in the add solids.  This may have begun life as a 3D scan.

The OBJ file may be better.

i get that, believe me.

It is just that this has come up many times during my times here on the forum, and it went on for way more than 24 hours 🙂 I guess it just sort of boiled to the surface a bit today for some reason.

No biggie.  Maybe it is time for Me to move on down the road 🙂
