Newbie here need help

Hello 

I am new to vectorworks, look thru lots of tutorial and my brain is burning. I need help to construct a simple curve with arch line (see attached) what do should I use?

Your image looks like a curved arc. Would you please post a copy of the file and a simple pencil sketch of what you're trying to create?

Hello Scott, you are right, it is a curve. I am including the VW file drawn by someone else. I needed to modify the design, such as to change the height and the bottom wavey part but I couldn't quite figure out how it was done.

Still a little unclear on what you want to do.  You can use "extract" in  the 3D tool palette to extract the curves.   What is your objective after that?

All I did was just extract the curves.  Still not sure what you are trying to do.  Can you explain a little further.

 

Do you want to apply a thickness or change the curve, etc.
