Kenickety
Hi, I'm currently using the speaker array plug-in object to do rigging plots, however, when adding hoists they snap to a seemingly unrelated line or set of lines rather than where I would expect them to attach. For example, In the image below I would expect it to snap to the most downstage rigging guide, but it instead goes to the bottom of the red line. Can I edit this set of lines, and if so, how do I do it? Please feel free to point me towards the right bit of the manual! Thanks Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee jcogdell Posted May 21, 2024 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted May 21, 2024 Try setting the hanging support dropdown (in either the tool preferences or the preoperties) to multiple hoists, this should enable you to attach the hoists wherever you want of the bumper Quote Link to comment
Kenickety
Unfortunately it does not, even with snapping disabled and it set to multiple hoists, it still only snaps to an existing red set of loci (which I think corresponds to the generic bumper catalog item). Is there anyway to modify these loci? Quote Link to comment

Stig Runar
@Scott C. Parker Did you find out anything here? For example on a L-Acoustics K2 Bumper- the rigging bar that goes backwards is 120cm, but you can only attach a motor 50cm backwards.. We want to edit this attachable line. Quote Link to comment

Sorry, I've found out that the geometry is currently hard-coded, meaning it's created on the fly during placement. Adding rigging snap points to Symbols is on our wish list. I'll keep digging for a workaround. 1 Quote Link to comment
