x'-y" format for worksheet dimensions

P Retondo

Question

Worksheets will not allow us to input a "-" between the feet and inches of a dimension. This is a long-standing architectural convention, and it makes no sense that we have to live with 2'10" instead of 2'-10".

While you're at it, it would save so much time if we could convert the quirky and unpresentable schedules to an ordinary worksheet with values and text so that we could sort properly, reformat, and generally fix them up. Exporting to Excel, fixing things, and then reimporting only works if you first generate a worksheet (as opposed to a schedule) from the data, and is a time-consuming pain.
