MORE CONTROL OF OVERHEAD DOOR PIO

CipesDesign

Question

The overhead door PIO is really poorly designed. What is called "trim" is should be called "jamb". There isn't really any trim available in the current version of the PIO.

A couple versions ago, "simple door" had the option to be an overhead door, and had separate control of jamb thickness and trim width.

Please restore our ability to create a realistic looking garage door!

Hello, I had just inserted a garage door when I read your post and decided to have a look. Sure enough, there was no jamb, so I went to the Object Info Palette and my jamb width was defaulted to .1 inch(not very thick). So I specified a 2" jamb and voila! there it was. Below that the trim setting was defaulted to none so I specified exterior and 4" width and voila! I don't know how they'll render but they're there in plan and elevation. Do you have a glitch? I'm still with a G4 running 10.5. Good luck, bc.
