Not to be a Revit wanna be (it was added in v5.1), but vertically compound walls would be excellent! Brick wainscots, soldier course in a masonry wall, reveals in cement plaster. Not to mention using the wall entities for other vertically stacked "extruded" types of entities like casework, shelves, guardrails, etc.
