Vertically compound walls

Not to be a Revit wanna be (it was added in v5.1), but vertically compound walls would be excellent! Brick wainscots, soldier course in a masonry wall, reveals in cement plaster. Not to mention using the wall entities for other vertically stacked "extruded" types of entities like casework, shelves, guardrails, etc.

+1 for a long-standing wish list item (+12 years and counting).

As part of this, it would also be nice to be able to put 2d symbols in wall assemblies, such as for crown molding, water tables, wood trim, etc.

It's been about a year now that I've put in for that wish. There are work arounds but they are clumsy.
