It would be very useful if when generating a section through cavity walls etc, that the cavity and fill information was retained, in a similar fashion as provided for example by Archicad. Are there any plans to introduce this feature?

I think the same way. Maybe not only cavities on walls. It will better if can retain all atribute of any 3d shape. I think that option will make vector the best cad around.

Agreed. I've been using Vectorworks for several years and think that for general 2D drafting, presentation and modeling (in conjunction with Artlantis) it provides a very flexible and easy to use design package. Retaining attributes when using the section tool would be great. It would be even better if such sections etc could be updated automatically from changes to the building model.
