Jack2022
Hi All, I have recently switched from using aligned hardscapes to draped hardscapes with a site model modified by using grades. Generally it works great! Issue with curved pathways: Is the simplest way to create a curved fall in the site model via nurbs curves set to the DTM class? I saw on one thread where that was suggested. It is ok just a pain when you are modelling top and bottom of kerbs along a falling curve. Also a pain on designs with lots of curves. Maybe a way to create curved grades?? Regards, Jack Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Tamsin Slatter Posted March 27 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted March 27 Try the Site Modifier in Pathway mode. Here you can create any shape you like, with curves. The pathway has a longitudinal profile that can be modified to set precise elevations, You can also create as many transverse profiles as you like. The pathway starts out with a fixed width, but you can reshape as required, Once you’ve created your path modifier, add the hardscape and tell it to drape. Hope that helps. 2 Quote Link to comment
