Kaare Baekgaard
- like in Illustrator. This command would be particularly nice when you import a complex geometry with lots of detail and layers. Quote Link to comment
0 CipesDesign
Hi KB Are you aware of the "CUSTOM SELECTION" command in the "ORGANIZE" menu. You can use it to write little scripts for selecting user defined attributes, etc. Peter Quote Link to comment
0 Martin
Also check out custom visibility. You can make everything else go invisible except for the user defined parameters. These can also be made into commands that can be put onto a palatte on your dektop. Quote Link to comment
0 Kaare Baekgaard
Thanks. The great thing about "select same line color" - or the similar commands in illustrator is that it takes just two clicks: 1. Select an object. 2. Select the comand. Its a lot faster than the "Custom Selection" dialogue. Quote Link to comment
0 CipesDesign
KB In the "CUSTOM SELECTION" dialog there is a box called "CREATE SCRIPT". If you select it, then name it, when you click out you will have a script in your COMMANDS PALETTE. This will do what you want with just two clicks. The coolest thing is you can make as many different ones as you want. Peter Quote Link to comment
