since a lightplot is an instrument of communication,
-on the one hand, to the people who are doing the work: wouldn't it be nice if, in sl the instrument schedule gave the delta x value(relative to center) of a lamp so that the stagehands could hang the instrument at the right place.
-on the other hand, for the people doing the actual lightplot, wouldn't be nice if we could visualize a zoom instrument, spot or flood or in between a fresnel, or see a par as an oval; without having to duplicate an instrument x amount of times + then edit its values (not at all a user friendly).
-wouldn't it be nice if i could draw a truss that stands up vertical to the floor.
-wouldn't it be nice if the oip could be modifiable
