A number of versions back (version 7 at least) if you cut an item and then pasted that item it would show up on the center of the work area (screen) no matter what scale you changed to or what ever part of your drawing you were looking at. Now it shows up randomly in different parts of the screen (I know there is some rhyme or reason why it does this) but it is annoying to find on a drawing with a lot of information that I have to hunt for the item(sometimes almost completely off the screen). It was so much easier when I simply looked near the center of the screen and then I could position the item exactly where I wanted. Is there a way to fix this or (if there is a logical reason why one would want the current configuration) to at least toggle between the two.
