0 P Retondo
If by "other direction" you mean at 90 degrees, use the rectangular array option to get everything in one step. Quote Link to comment
0 Dan Kessler
I couldn't agree more with Matt. It's incredibly frustrating to have the resulting objects selected after an offset. I brought up this same issue a while back. Here's the thread: http://techboard.nemetschek.net/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=12;t=002012 Dan Quote Link to comment
0 matto
ok rectangular array i use that all the time but it's not what i'm looking for by this. as you can imagine rectanglar array gives a rectanglar mass of duplicates. what i'm suggesting means you could easily do an 'L' shape of duplicates. or draw an object in the center of a room then put spaced duplicates left and then right of the original. or stop that annoying thing of all the duplicates in a rectanglar array being selected except the original.if there is several objects in the original or it was a fiddly selection to start with. as it now you have to redo that selection before you can tweak the position enmass. oh one more option -that just the last of the duplicates is selected. hope that makes sense matt Quote Link to comment
0 Katerina
I know you might be looking for something different, but if this helps you for now any try the Duplicate/Multiple command found on VectorDepot Quote Link to comment
