2024 Align and distribute tool

  I'm trying to figure out the 2024 version of the Align and distribute tool........can't seem to figure this version out.  Can't get a motor or fixture to replicate along a truss.....any thoughts?

Align and Distribute will only align what's already there.

Nope.  I mean "Duplicate Array...", but "Move by Points" will work except in its first mode.

Move by points was the only 'tool' I could think of.

Three ways I use to duplicate hoists along a truss.

1. Move by points.
2. Duplicate Array.
3. Duplicate along Path.

The key is that the points/paths must be along the truss's centerline.

Sort of related... I watched a useful video from @Jonathan Pickup (thanks as ever!) about the different behaviours of 'Align' in the Modify Menu, and 'Align' on right click. Went off all excited to try the right click version, and find it's not there for me! Any clues as to how to edit the right-click menu to get it reinstated, please?

It's in the Object Context menu so you need two or more objects selected then right-click on one of the objects. If you don't right-click on an object you'll get the Document Context menu. 

 

If you're using a custom workspace + it's still not working look for 'Align/Distribute...' in the Workspace Editor ('Menus' tab > 'All Menus') + drag it into the Object Context menu.
