Smoore
Hi there, I'm having some incredibly frustrating problems with my most recent model. Some textures are simply not displaying and I just get a wireframe view instead. I have checked that textures are selected in the 'shaded options' but can't seem to find any other options that would make a difference. It is also affecting my site model whereby a wire frame is displayed when I select "3D mesh (colored elevation)". These problems seem incredibly inconsistent. They have occurred in some other projects of my but not all. Have I done something incorrect when setting up my document or when I first created the objects that aren't rendering? I'm fairly new to Vectorworks but have been studying as much as I can. I can't seem to find a suitable answer on the forum so time to ask my own question. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as I'm at the end of my rope! Thanks (Images and file attached for clarity) Problem File 1.vwx Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
Two things to check. 1. Make sure that the objects are set to have a SOLID fill in the Attributes Palette (or if using Attributes By Class, that the Class has a solid fill set). 2. Make sure the objects are CLOSED (check the box at the bottom of the Object Info Palette (OIP) If either of these is not set properly, then you will not have a surface on the object and therefore you can't have a texture display even if it is set for the object. Good luck. 1 Quote Link to comment
Smoore
Thank you so much Pat. It solved the problem. As I suspected it was a simple fix and I was looking for a more complicated answer. Thanks again Quote Link to comment
