P Retondo
It would be great to have Windows-style "Back" and "Up one level" buttons to help navigate the resource palette. Quote Link to comment

0 skoorbb
agree it should be easier....diagree it should be "windows" style. windows style implies separate dialog boxes for defined functions, buried in arcane places throughout the program structure. Quote Link to comment
0 P Retondo
In Windows Explorer and a lot of programs that emulate it, there is a button for going back to the last "view" of the directory tree, and a button that takes you up one layer in the directory structure. That's what I'm talking about. Quote Link to comment
0 Jershaun
I also agree. "Up One Level" should be implemented more often (where it would help make things more easy) and not only in the resource palette. I have been asking for this feature for a LONG time. Quote Link to comment

0 Guest
I think having folders or breaker bars that the user can set in the Resource Browser would be helpful. A way to organize files better in the favorites list. If you have the industry collection and add all the library files to the Favorites List, it's tricky to find what you want. Anyone else up for that? Quote Link to comment
0 P Retondo
Katie, that would be great. If the browser works like the Windows browser, that's something everyone is used to and would be intuitively accessible. I do note the improvement made in the version 10 resource browser, but what you and I are saying makes more sense. As it is, now I have to go looking for the hatches, for example. With a folder structure similar to the older resource window, we could have all of that at hand. If I'm not mistaken, Microsoft makes it very easy to program a Windows style browser using Visual C++.
