I used to be able to type "f" and go to the first font that started with "f" instead of having to scroll down to it in the format text window. What happened to this? is this a bug?

What version did you used to be able to do this in?

What version are you using now?

Mac or PC?

OS version?

Make sure the box where you can type in that letter is either highlighted or empty when you type it.

If it has "C" there and "C" is not highlighted and the cursor is blinking next to it, it will not go to whatever you type in. It will stay at the first font that begins with "C".

This is a standard opearting procedure for most applications.
