Multiple Pages on 1 sheet layer

Breadsticks

Question

Hello,

I am using fundamental which is lacking in a lot of fundamental options 🤨 one of which is being able to publish multiple PDF's at once.  As a work around for this I need to create multiple pages on sheet layer to I only have to create 1 PDF.  Can anyone explain to me in simple terms how I get more pages onto 1 sheet layer.  As in, lets say I want 9 pages A3 pages landscape.  I have seen it done but don't know how to do it.

Thanks in advance!

Like this, via File>page setup, unless it's different in Fundamentals

Do you know whether or not it is possible to add additional pages later, that will properly insert at the right of the existing pages, so that not all the content gets repositioned towards the center of the pages' rollout after the total amount of pages has changed?

No, I don't think this is possible unfortunately. If it is, I would like to know too!

Because of this, I often make set up a few more pages than I think I need, at the beginning, so I have a few spare ones on the right if I later add some more.

Alternatively, if you increase the number of pages, doing it in multiples of 2 will add the same at beginning & end and leave the original "first" page aligned with the print area, but then you need to print/export starting at the relevant page number which will no longer be page 1.

Yes always -  to avoid resetting each page. 👍

You'd have thought VW boffins could have dealt with this long standing 'quirk' but not a bell, nor a whistle, so not worth their time.
