2D object reshape handles missing

Howdy.

Ive noticed in VW24 the standard corner reshape handles you would expect on 2D object are no longer there. So to do any size adjustments i have to use the reshape tool. This is more annoying for things such as worksheets on sheet layers where i cant just click and drag to resize them. Have checked all my settings and cant see anything to explain why they are not there

The one setting you haven't checked is the mode of the selection tool.

 

Make the selection tool active (arrow in the basic tool palette).  The default keyboard shortcut is X.

 

I think you are the in first mode of the first mode group.  The default keyboard shortcut to cycle through these modes is U. Make either the second or third mode active and the handles will reappear.
