Adjusting Angle incrementally amongst objects

Question, 

 

If I have a collection of objects I want to incrementally adjust the angle to. is there a function that will do that?  I tried to search but couldn't figure out the write nomenclature to make the answer come up.

Hello,

Select the object(s) and double click the Rotate tool in the Basic toolset. You can then enter an angle. The precision by default is two decimal places but that can be changed in the Units dialogue.

Will this rotate each object in an increasing amount or will I still need to select and change the rotation for each one?

I was just browsing the forums and saw this thread. Doing as Peter suggests will change the rotation of all three as a group. If for instance, you had 3 square columns that you need to rotate upon themselves, you'd have to do them individually, unless I'm missing something. If however, you want the collection to rotate as a whole, Peter's method works great.

There is a custom script that does this which I got from this forum years ago. I tried export it from my vw but the plug-in manager doesn't seem to be working atm otherwise i'd share it. Perhaps search the forum?
