Double click to edit text.

Not sure if it has been brought up, but can the application follow a standard that has been set for years? Double click to edit text.

VW 8 and VW 9 operate the same way as far as editing text. If you have a text block already created and wish to go back and edit the text block, you simply select the Text tool and click one time on the text block and that should open the text block to allow for editing. You can also select the text block with the 2d selection tool, then click anywhere in the text block to open it for editing.

In what version were you using to double click with the 2d selection tool to open a text block for editing ?

this doesn't work on the pc version. working with a pc you have to select the text block with the right mouse button and select 'edit'.

On the PC, you can select the Text Tool and click on the text block at the very beginning of the text or the end and it will open the text block. You do not have to right click on the text block.

Even wtih the text block selected, you can select the Text tool and click on the text block at the right point to open.

With that said, it is easier to select the text, then right click and go to Edit in my opinion.
