Eadig
Hello I would like to draw curtains and other draperies in my plan and noticed an old video of the Vectorworks channel recommends seleting the Soft Goods tool in the Spotlight tool set: Then I also noticed the Spotlight tool set is gone along with the Soft Goods tool in the newer versions of VW and looked into the Design Suite, Fundamentals and Spotlight Workspaces with no luck. Please help me work out how a curtain can be drawn now. Quote Link to comment
Tom W.
What VW product do you have? You need either Design Suite or Spotlight. I have Design Suite + in both VW2023 + VW2024 the Soft Goods Tool is present in the Detailing Tool Set in the default Design Suite Workspace. 1 Quote Link to comment

Vectorworks, Inc Employee Peter Neufeld. Posted September 18, 2023 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted September 18, 2023 Hello, Don't forget that the easiest way to find tools or commands is the Quick Search. Hit the 'F' key and there you go. Cheers, Peter 1 Quote Link to comment

Cheers, Peter I'm new to VW and trying to work out the versions differences particularly in the Tool Sets at the moment for the sake of navigating my ways using the GUI elements only. Will turn to the Quick Search when I run into trouble with them again. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Peter Neufeld. Posted September 18, 2023 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted September 18, 2023 Everything you need to know about Vectorworks is in the Help. Once there you can download this PDF showing the differences between modules. Also, the 'What's This' command just below the Help allows you to click on any tool or command and it will open the Help to the relevant page. It is excellent. Cheers, Peter 1 Quote Link to comment
