Door #'s as part of PIO

Now that the door PIO links the door size to the door record for creation of schedules it would be nice to have the option to add the door # graphically to the door PIO and link it to the record as well.

We typically place the door # parallel to the swing of the door as a simple piece of text. To change door #'s we have to change the text on the drawing as well as the text in the record to properly update our schedules and cooridnate our drawings.

Just a thought.

Hi, Mike.

Sounds like a very good idea. Perhaps some of the technology used with VectorWorks SpotLight could be integrated to do this. As I am not a programmer, I couldn't say how difficult this would be. In SpotLight you set up the records, place the location of information for the lights, etc. This is more of an industry standard though and may be beyond the desire of most users to add addtional tasks to their work. I'll place it in the Wish List.
