Text Edit Interface

Mark Chevalier

Question

1) Can NNA look at having MS Word-like interface for quick editing and viewing of text information, either within the object info pallette or somewhere else on the screen.

It seems awkward to always be scrolling down the Text menu for thgings text related.

2) When text is selected to edit can a pop up window appear to allow easier editing. This would help when zoomed out and editing text so you can see what you are doing without zooming in.

Thanks!

Have you taken a look at the Format Text dialog in VectorWorks 9? It's a modal dialog, so it's not exactly like having those controls in a palette, but it's readily accessible using a keyboard shortcut (command-T in the standard workspace).
