Pat Stanford Posted September 22, 2023 Share Posted September 22, 2023 Please note that under the new sales terms of VW, "Perpetual" is kind of a misnomer. Historically, a Perpetual license was one you owned and was upgradeable. Currently, owned licenses are transferable, but they are not upgradeable. So if you buy VW2022 you will be able to use it as long as you have hardware and operating system that supports it. Once you have to get new hardware with a new operating system, your licenses may not work and will not be upgradeable. A potential work around is a virtual machine running an older OS to run the old version of VW. 1 Quote Link to comment
