Rounded Rectangles

Question

I would like to see the rounded corners specified by radius (like filets) rather than by diameter. Better consistancy. Also, this might fix a bug with resizing rounded rectangles.

When creating a r.r., with the rounding dia. set to 1' (6" radius), the rectangle can be 1' wide and still maintain the correct radii. If, however, I have a r.r. 3' wide w/ 1' dia. corners, and I try to resize it to 1' wide in the Object Info palette, it will change the corner dia. to 6". It seems to want the corner DIAMETER to be half the rectangle width, instead of the RADIUS, as would be sensible.

How about converting a regular rectangle to a polygon and changing the vertices to circular arcs with specified fillet radii? It works well for me.
