Christian Fekete
Hello, I cannot figure out why some joints are capped and not others. They are all defined with uncapped components, all on the same class and all uncapped walls on the drawings. Thanks for your help CF Wall join.vwx Quote Link to comment

filip
I can't find a sollution for connecting / changing the individual setting of differentcomponents of a walltype vertically, without affecting the whole wall type, so is there a way to change the wallsettings of the components for an indiviual wall without changing the wallstyle completely? best regards Filip Bosscher Quote Link to comment
taoist
Try changing one of the walls you want with different material(s) to unstylized. Change your material(s) and either save as new stylized or leave as unstyled wall type. If I recall correctly, the Stylized walls will remain unchanged. Quote Link to comment

filip
Vectorworks has a good working tool for connecting horizontal walls and components of walls, was it to difficult to create a tool for vertical walls? Quote Link to comment

What exactly do you want to change "vertically"? You can change the height of individual components in a wall object without affecting the wall style. If you want to change to a different construction type, at some point in the height of the wall, then you need to stack two different wall types on top of each other. Quote Link to comment
Tom W.
Yes @filip it would be good to see some screenshots of what it is you're trying to do. Quote Link to comment
filip
Dear Tom, this screenshot shows two walls and a floorslab, the walls are on different laters, and is would be great to connect the componentens seperately. Horizontaly there is a nice tool to do this, not vertically. see screenshot. 1 Quote Link to comment
