I have spent days of my life deleting the facet lines on curved extruded surfaces much client $$$$$$$$$$$. please have facet lines render as a different type so they may be selected as a group by color line wieght or style and deleted.

I have seen another program where the line between 2 planes would not display if the angle between them was over "x" degrees, where "x" was user selectable. This might be another way to handle this.

I assume by your request that you are exporting your rendered hidden line file as EPS and importing into an illustration program. I do this a lot and I agree that having VectorWorks hide the facet lines would be a huge time saver. Also, improving the accuracy of VectorWorks EPS export would speed up the clean up required in the illustration program.

I have heard this requested from many users in my role as trainer and user group organizer. I call it blackboard mode as it resembles the simple uncluttered line drawings one might sketch or draw on a blackboard. Very useful for shop drawings.
