leemyeng
I am using a modeling program called Blender. I want to know if it's impossible to call(.collada or .dae). For your information, version 2019 is being used. Quote Link to comment
0 rDesign
It is not clear what you are asking. Are you asking if Vw 2019 can Import Collada or .DAE files? If so, I don’t believe it is possible with Vw2019 — but take a look at the Vw2019 Help file page on Importing Files Vw2019 Help File - Importing Files Edited April 15, 2023 by rDesign 1 Quote Link to comment
0 zoomer
My Blende offers also DXF Export (Maybe I have an AddOn activated) DXF should work for VW 2019. But maybe will be geometry only. Another option would be BlenderBIM AddOn, which can save an IFC file. But you would need to classify all objects to export with an IFC tag in Blender. (You could select just all objects an assign a simple IFC_ElementProxy tag) 1 Quote Link to comment
0 Andy Broomell
If you're trying to get a Blender file into Vectorworks, I've had the most luck using OBJ (Wavefront). 3 Quote Link to comment
