The Transformative Power of NURBS Modelling

In an effort to shatter the myth that Vectorworks can’t compete with the Rhinos and Blenders of the world for 3D modelling, a series of tutorials will be released starting today, one segment per week (Tuesday NURBS Tutorials).  See 90 second promo below.

 

The tutorial series will take a complex build from start to finish and will include video instructions as well as the working Vectorworks file.  The tutorials are done in VW18 so more users can take part.

 

Why NURBS modelling.  Understanding how NURBS modelling fits into your Vectorworks design pipeline can give you a significant edge over your competition.

 

This series will likely only appeal at first to a sub-set of Vectorworks designers who already embrace NURBS, but perhaps with their help, this transformative power will disseminate throughout the ranks of users to elevate the future level of design.

Good stuff.  Vectorworks does not actively promote these tools, but they are there.  People look to other programs for training, which just confuses things more.  If you find my Channel, "Vectorworks Nurbs Modelling". there are some tutorials to get started.
