Sun position settings

Vidar

Question

When you switch from one 3D view to another - say, from the east side of a building to the west side - you will have to change the sun position and render the perspective again.

It would be great if a specific sun position (time of day and day of year) could be associated with each 3D view.

This can be done with the Architect plug-in. Contact Customer Service or your Sales Representative for more information.

There is an animation feature that allows you to set the specifics you are looking for, I believe. Again, contact your sales representative or Customer Service for more information.

We typically re-render the same 4 - 6 perspective views over and over until completion. Rather than change the lights for each view, create a separate layer for the lights for each view and use Create Layer Link to link the correct lighting setup for each view.
