Render and hatch don't match, how can I fix it?

Soory for the confusion. The left drawing is shaded with hidden line and the right one is just hidden line. The hatch on both sows OK when opened in the Resource Manager, yet it show slanted in elevation and replacing it with another 4x4 hatch gives the same results. Seems random, but prob is not. I just can't figure the method to the madness.
