Hatches

I am using VectorWorks 10.5. The available hatches do not include any cultured stone. I imported some hatches in DXF format from a software program called "StoneCad" from Owens Corning. When I try to retrieve the hatches using the the Resource Brouser, it do not recognize the DXF files. What should I be doing to add these hatches?

Import each DXF file into a new, blank VectorWorks file, then cut and paste the contents of it into the file where you keep all your hatch patterns. Thereafter, you'll find that hatch pattern in the pull-down list on the Attributes palette.

Hatches are resident in VW files, so it's a good idea to keep a template file that contains all the hatches you normally use. For others, you can import any hatch pattern from any open VW file using the Resource Browser. Find open VW files at the top of the uppermost pull-down list in the RB.
