I've placed interior lights in the ceiling throughout a house but i'm getting bleed through in different areas through my walls. I have cast shadows checked on my lights. I used a VW library can light, changed the light to a spot with a wide spread because the original point light would make the ceiling glow around the light. I'll take any advice on light settings or texture settings to keep my lights for each room actually inside the room. I'm trying to use a hybrid object so i have my light symbol the way I want in 2D and also already have my lights set when i transfer over to my rendering software. Quote Link to comment
Mat Caird Posted March 21, 2023 Share Posted March 21, 2023 The Renderworks texture you're using for the walls (or ceilings etc) may have shadows turned off; Also check under View | Rendering | Shaded Options, that Cast Shadows is on.
