I posted this previously in the General Discussions but thought I'd try here as well...thanks, bc
My goal is to create a small pond surrounded by stones. I have two extrudes that are textured. Stone Extrude has an image based texture: "river stone" with texture scale set to 3. I have traced the stone patterns to create my pond extrude and I have given it a "water texture" that has reflectivity and transparency and texture scale set to 1. I set aside a copy of the pond extrude to place back in the hole and commence to subtract solids. When I subtract the Pond Extrude from the Stone Extrude, the Pond is indeed subtracted but the Stone Extrude (now a solid subtraction) has had it's texture scale changed to 1 and of course the stones no longer match the pond shape and are not to scale. The same occurs even I switch the pond extrude scale to 3. Any help?
