Roller-shading disabled?

I just installed VectorWorks 10.5.1 on Windows XP, and found that the palettes won't roller-shade up by double-clicking on the top. Is this a glitch, or intentional?

Roller-shading works fine in VW version 8 on the same machine.

In VW 10.5.0 and later, the roller shading is automatic for some palettes.

The RB, Attribute, and OIP have a little thumbtack icon in the upper right hand corner.

if the tack is facing to the left, the moment you leave the palette it shrinks up.

If the tack is facing down, it won't shrink up.

Double clicking will dock the palette instead (if you have palette docking enabled)

Is there any way I can get a pre-10.5 release of version 10? I bought the upgrade late, and my CD is 10.5.1
